Aims and Objectives 14/12/17
Aim: To understand the fundamental principles of HCI design
Objectives:
Explain how perception, behaviour models and processing can be used in interface design
Explain at least one way that an interface can be adapted for specialist use e.g. input or output for the visually, orally, aurally or physically challenged
Complete any unfinished submissions and resubmissions
Today a strength has been finishing 2 of my assignments that are due in tomorrow. Another strength has been working well in a team to accomplish a task.
Today a weakness has been being distracted my Youtube. Another weakness has been not being able to use a formula to work out the sum of some series, so each term has to be found first.
Today I have been working on outstanding assignments. I also now understand how to find the sum to infinite.
Today has been ok as I have been able to work effectively and have been able to understand the maths lesson.

State at least one predictive and one descriptive model
Explain the role of humans in interface design
State at least one way to design for specialist need
Today I have learnt that a Key-Action Model has 3 groups of keys that do different things.
Today has been good as I have been able to complete the work that was set today.
A strength has been finishing one piece of work, this means that I can focus on other pieces.
Today a weakness has been forgetting my glasses.

Lesson Aim:
Understand how numbering systems are used in different elements of computing
Learning Outcomes (what the learner will be able to do)
Understand the structure of IPv4 and IPv6
Identify key items on their network and the IP address of them
Understand the role of the router and DHCP
Understand the purpose of the two different parts of the IP address
Identify the class of your home network
Identify the range of your home network
Learning Objectives (skills, knowledge & attitudes)
Find your IP address
Find your gateway
Work on outstanding work
I have learnt that sometimes being risky can pay off big time but it also pays to be careful as being risky could mean the loss of everything.
Today has been good as I got to have fun playing a game, as well as doing my work effectively.
A strength today has been having fun with the game that we played in the tutorial. Another strength has been understanding why money management is important.
Today a weaknesses has been not finishing U23 A1T2 at college so I will have to continue it at home after work.

Work on completion of A4T1
Work on resubmission of A2T1

Rework A1T2 and A1T2
Further completion of A2T1
Today a strength has been handing in the resub for U14 that is due in today. Another strength today has been understand how to find the sum of a sequence.
Today a weakness has been getting distracted so I did not do as much work as I could have. Another weakness has been being ill as it has meant I can not work as well.
Today I have been working on U14 A1T3, U23 A1T1 and U23 A1T2.
Today I have learnt how to find the sum of a sequence.

To evaluate the impact of a potential future development in HCI

Understand and state what is meant by HCI
Explain in detail how HCI has impacted on society, economy and culture
Predict and describe a future development in HCi and state how it's impact on society, economy and culture
Today a strength has been finishing U23 A1T1 this means that I can now start on U23 A1T2.
