Learning Objectives
Demonstrate the basics of interaction and modeling with Blender
Analyse what is required to complete A1
Investigate different modelling constraints.
Today a strength has been figuring out how to use blender and not just deleting my work over and over again.
Today a weakness has been not pushing myself with blender making simple models.
I think that today has been good as I have not been distracted by YouTube.
Due dates U41 A1T1 & A1T2 03/05/2018.
Lesson Aims:
Develop a basic understanding of simple SQL commands.

Know the interface for DBLite
Use the SELECT keyword
Know the wildcard to select all
Refine the search using the WHERE command
Use logical operators to be more selective in SQL
Order results in SQL
Understand how to collect data from two different tables
Begin to develop their understanding of SQL
Work on outstanding tasks
Learning Objectives (skills, knowledge & attitudes)
Research a topic independently
Proofread your work and submit
Collect and process data for a purpose
Aim: To discuss the Refugee Crisis
Objectives:
Define what it is to be a refugee
Identify reasons someone may have to leave their homes and countries
Explain why refugees are fleeing to Europe and give arguments for and against providing shelter to them.
Evaluate our obligation to shelter refugees from other countries
Today a strength has been arriving to college on time and trying to do the tasks set in the classroom.
Today a weakness has been not doing anything because I have been tired. (my fault).
Today I have learnt a few commands in SQL and I will continue to learn at home.
I think that today will get better when I eat and go to sleep.
Due dates: U03 A2T3 24/04/2018
Session 2 - 19/04/18
Lesson Aims:
To begin familiarisation with the required software for the Unit, Blender.
To revisit Assignment One
To investigate the meaning of Geometric Theory
Investigate how 3D models, geometry, graphics is displayed on the screen.
Learning Outcomes:
Re-explain how the unit is assessed
Interact with the viewport in Blender
Add and remove 3D objects from the Blender scene
Modify a 3D Object in Blender
Create a 3D object from scratch in Blender
Explain the differences between transformation methods in 3D space
Learning Objectives:
Demonstrate the basics of interaction and modeling with Blender
Explain the basics of interaction in 3D space
Analyse what is required to complete A1
Today I have learnt how to use new tools in blender.
A strength has been developing my blender skills and help Mohammed with blender. Another strength has been writing a conclusion about my hypothesis.
Today a weakness has been forgetting to save my work from last time.
I think that today has been good as I have been able to work on blender.
This afternoon I worked on blender as well as a assignment for maths. I have not done my last re-sub for maths which was a mistake since now I have to do it later.
Due dates: U26 A4T3 20/04/2018, U03 A1T3 20/04/2018, U41 A1T1 03/05/2018, U41 A1T2 03/05/02018
Lesson Aims:
Investigate the information and management of information systems used by Amazon
Learning Outcomes (what the learner will be able to do)
Consider the information systems Amazon uses
Watch the videos and identify how information systems and management of information systems are used
Start to write a brief report explaining how management of information systems can be used
Understand the difference between an information system and a management IS
Understand the functions of a IS
Begin to develop their understanding of SQL
Work on outstanding tasks
Learning Objectives (skills, knowledge & attitudes)
Research a topic independently
Proofread your work and submit
Know how to present yourself positively at an interview
Link experience to potential examples for interviews
Know the different types of interview that exist and their purpose
Be able to identify ways to research and prepare effectively beforehand
Have practised simulated interviews using the STAR model to answer questions
Today a strength has been coming up with good answers for the most common questions asked at an interview.
Today a weakness has been forgetting my glasses.
Today I have learnt that the Romans privatised their tax system which led to huge amounts of corruption.
Today has been good as I have been able to hand in to pieces of work.
Next time I have an interview I will make sure to think about the question before speaking.
